  1. One bright night a man went to a field to make hay late. He had to cross "Monkey Hill" where there was a large moate. Suddenly he heard beautiful singing and music. Then he saw two little women dressed in red and green. The little women invited this man to go up and sit under the lone bush. He did so and the fairies danced and sang round the moate. Then a crowd of fairies gave him tea and all sorts of food. They told him not to tell anyone and then they disappeared. Then the man went home contented.
