  1. The remains of an old road is to be seen at Monasterboice. It was the Drogheda and Ardee road. It is said that the road passed through Killogue, Bawntaafee and Tenure. It was a paved road and it is said that the stage coach went on this road. One night when the people were sitting at the fire they heard the stage coach going by and with the noise they thought the paving was tore up and when they went out in the morning the road was the same as ever.
