a parcel. She looked round and she saw a black think after her, and she thought it was a ghost. She ran till she came to Christy Begney's. She went into his house, afraid of the black thing. And what was it, only Joey Myles' greyhound.

  2. Long ago a man lived beyond Ardee. One day he was knocking an old house. When he was ripping up the floor he found a rusty little box. He lifted it up and he thought it very heavy. He got it hard to open it, so he got a little knife he had in his pocket and opened it, and to his surprise it was full of gold. The man was delighted because he was poor, and ran home to show it to his wife.
