    Sheet No.
    The well was used by St. Fintan's who had a cell in the present Churchyard. He is supposed to be the same as the one from whom St. Colmcille copied the Gospel.
    St Colmcille paid a visit to St. Fintan in Dromin and on that occasion got the loan of the Gospel and made a copy.
    The present Church is called St. Fintans.
