    Both young and old who hear my song
    If you but pay attention, the truth Ill tell to thee
    Is of the men who now intend our credit to obtain
    Those were the boys did first advise the plan they called campaign
    We started here in Collon town, this fight to undergo
    As our crops were scarcely any and the prices very low
    We requested a reduction of 25%
    And the word we got was go back again and bring me here my rent
    Its when we saw we were refused of what was just and fair
    And we willingly gave all we had
    And more than we could spare
    Its then we joined this honest plan, our money we laid
