Edmondstown; - Old customs of long ago
Long ago the people used to play a lot of tricks on Hallow eve night. They used to get a dish of water and put a threepenny bit in it and they try to get it with their mouth: They used to put nuts in the fire and if two nuts shot out together them two people would be married.
