  1. A Flood
    A great flood took place about the year 1859, it lasted for three months. It destroyed all the peoples potatoes and especially down in Tully. There was a man by the name of Kelly who was nearly lost in it he went out for turf in a box through the water and when he was returning, the box turned over and he fell into the water and remained there until help came
    Afterwards there was a song made about him

  2. Thunder storm
    In the year 1867 there was a great storm of thunder,i it was in the months of June and it lasted for a day. It knocked a house and killed a family of five, there names were Byrnes and the lightning came in through
