- A Flood
A great flood took place about the year 1859, it lasted for three months. It destroyed all the peoples potatoes and especially down in Tully. There was a man by the name of Kelly who was nearly lost in it he went out for turf in a box through the water and when he was returning, the box turned over and he fell into the water and remained there until help came

In the year 1867 there was a great storm of thunder,i it was in the months of June and it lasted for a day. It knocked a house and killed a family of five, there names were Byrnes and the lightning came in through(continues on next page)- Collector
