  1. Severe Weather.
    There was a big snow storm in the year 1933.
    The storm occurred on the twenty fourth of February.
    There were cattle and sheep lost in the snow. There was a big flood in the year 1928 and the people had to go to the shops on horseback. There was a big wind in the year eighteen thirty nine and it knocked down trees and houses.
    There was a thunder storm four years ago and it killed cattle and sheep. When thunder is coming the air gets warm.

  2. Severe Weather.
    There was a big snow storm in the year 1932. The snow was eight feet deep. There was a postman lost in the snow in the west of Ireland. Bread vans and motor cars and lorries were stuck on the roads.
    It lay on the ground for a week before it melted.
    If a person was walking on a hill he would hardly know where he was walking until he would walk into a drift of snow.
