Rise up old woman and give us a treat
A treat, a treat, for every man
Up with the kettle, and down with the pan
Give is some money to bury the Wren
Pockets of money and barrels of beer
I wish you all a Happy New YEar
After the rhyme is chanted the Wren boys generally get money, and (generally) some pudding or cake.
