- Local caves
There is a cave leading from the bank of the river in Mathew Dullaghan's field to Muckian's fort. The entrance is about four feet high. In the summer boys go into it until they g come to the place where it branches off to the left and to the right, but they do not go any further, because it is believed that there is unpure air past that spot. It is believed that there is gold in it.
