  2. There are many old Irish tales to be told in this district about long ago. Once upon a time Fionn of the Fianna was out hunting in the forests with his two dogs. They came across a deer and the two dogs followed her. When Fionn came to the lake on top of Slieve Guillion, he suddenly heard a woman crying. Fionn went up to where he heard her crying. He asked her what was wrong and he told her his name was Fionn. She told him her bracelet had fallen in the lake.
