    On the left side of Castletown Hill is situated Castletown graveyard,and on the right side are the orchard and grounds of the castle.The keys of the graveyard can be had from one of the cottages nearby.As we enter the graveyard we walk along a straight avenue bordered by ta;; trees.Mementoes of all the catholic families of Dundalk stand thick around,for this old graveyard,although outside of Dundalk had been the principal burying place of the town around 1895.The ruined walls of the old church are on a small hill at the further end.Under the east window from which even its stone mullions have vanished,is an inscription in English "Sir Walter Bellawe,Priest,erected this alter,in honour of St.John Baptist the first of Jannarie
