    The nettle when boiled with milk was used for purifying the blood.
    The dandelion when boiled was used for kidney trouble.
    Garlic was used for the dreadful ailment of Consumption and Convulsions.A leaf was placed between the sole of the foot and the stocking.This was a great cure for a severe corn.
    The Scarlet Poppy was used for swellings and the juice was used for putting babies to sleep.
    Herb-Robert or Bloodworm was believed to stop the bleeding of wounds.
    When people had a severe headache a petal of Yarrow was turned inside their nose. The nose would immediatly bleed thus curing the headache.This herb is also called
