    Christmas and new year Customs
    Christmas Eve:- On Christmas eve night the youngest in the house is supposed to light the Christmas candles and leave them in each window until they are burned out.
    On Christmas Eve night the ass is supposed to go down on his knees at mid night.
    The holly which is put up to decorate the house at Christmas is to be taken down on the sixth of January and burned.
    A large piece of wood called the yule log is burned on Christmas Eve,
