    God bless the bed that I lie on. There are four corners on my bed there are four angles over head. One to guide and one to pray and two to bear my soul away.
    To be said in bed.
    When going to bed and when rising in the morning make the letters I.N.R.I. on your forehead three times and say Iron nails ran in. Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews preserve me from a sudden and unprepared death. Amen.
    As I lay down my head to sleep. I ask of God my soul to keep but if I die before I wake I ask of God my soul
