  1. There is a lios in Joe McArdle's field about midway between the main road and the shore. There is an underground passage leading from it to another lios in Analoughan and it is in this passage that the priests are supposed to taken refuge from the Yeomen. It is believed that the fairies used to play pitch and toss in this lios because one day a man was walking through it and he found lying on the ground a coin which dated back to a very ancient period. This lios is surrounded by trees and bushes.
