  1. In my Father's day
    "Big Biddy" was a very popular traveller in this district some years ago. She used to lodge in a house in Rampark owned by a man named Frank Mc Dermott. She used to go around from house to house begging oaten meal. When she would return home she used to make porridge which she shared with Frank and the wife. This was a payment for her lodgings.
    "Juicy" was another old traveller who used to go around selling laces, tie pins brooches etc,. Juicey lived in Dundalk and he used to walk out to Rampark every day.
