  1. There is a well in the town land of Jenkinstown, at the back of Mr Mc Gee's house. It is near a bog and there is a lane going over to it. The name given to this well is St. Ann's well but how it got the name I don't know. It is supposed by some to be a holy well, but others say a man was hanged at it. This well is not very deep.
