  1. I live in Knocknagoran. There are fifty five families in it. There are very few people in it over seventy years of age. They cannot speak the Irish Language. I have never heard them tell any Irish stories. There are a lot of common family names in it, O'Hanlon, Hardy, Boyle, Fearon, McQuaid, McGuire, and Hagan are the most plentiful.
