  1. Signs in the Sky
    If the sun shines very brightly early in the morning it is a sign that rain will come before nightfall. A ring round the moon is a sign of wind or rain. If the ring is close to the moon the storm is far away and if it is far away from the moon the storm is at hand. Black clouds are a sign of rain.
