  1. Signs in the Sky
    The moon.
When there comes a cloudy ring on the moon it is a sign of bad weather and whatever point of the ring is broken that is the point from which the storm comes. When we see a new moon if it is on "its back" it is a sign of bad weather.
If it is straight upward it is a sign of good weather. When we get a new moon on Saturday we will give very bad weather for that month. It is an old saying that, Saturday's moon is a good moon" if it does not drown the world.
