  1. There is a big different between the way boys and girls amuse themselves now towards long ago.
    The boys used make tops, lanterns, and guns and the girls dolls. The way they made dancing dolls was to get alot of rags and put something around them to keep them together. then make the head. Made the legs very loosely so that they can dance. Then get a saw and hold the doll over it. Tip the saw and the doll would dance.
    The way they made guns was to get a spool and tied a piece of rubber on one end.
