  1. There are about four graveyards in the parish of Tullaroan, one in Boggan, on in Tullaroan, one in Courstown and the other in Brabstown. The one in Tullaroan is in Mr. Dillons field a quarter of a mile from the village of Tullaroan.
    It is square in shape and an old church in the middle of it. Some of the graves are inside the church but these ones are very old. There are carvings on stones over some of the graves such carvings of the Blessed Virgin, St. Patrick and the Devil.
    The one that is in Boggan is for unbaptized children, and it is very seldom a child is buried in it.
