  1. The old landlord that was in Reimeen was a genteman named Evans of Ballivan Ballycallan.
    He died about a hundred years ago and then left the rent in trust and infirm people.
    He was always considered to be a kind landlord and no one was ever evicted by him.
    There are no landlords in it now because it is the agents that collects the rent at present. Long ago if the people had not money to pay the rent they were evicted out of the farm.
