  1. The people long ago used eat oatmeal cakes which they mixed with water and baked on a griddle. They ate alot of fish because the lakes and ponds around Ireland teemed with fish. The people used eat alot of wild deer which they killed in the woods or forests.
    The people had no sugar and they used put honey in their tea because they had plenty of it.
    The people long ago were very healty because they used eat a lot of porridge.
