  1. There are not many holy wells in the parish of Tullaroan. the well which I am going to write about is situate in Mr. Dillon's field and it is near the road.
    The shape of it is round and was built shortly after the time of Cromwell. The well was built by a holy man that was living in Tullaroan.
    The well is in the middle of the field and there is a bush near it called the monument bush.
    There is no water in it now because it dried up and alot of stones in it.
    The word Avemaria in front of it.
