  1. There were severay forts or raths around here in olden times. The fairies were supposed to dwell in all those forts long ago.
    The one I am going to write about is the one in Mr. Keoghan's of Liss.
    There was in every fort a direct line between those places where the fairies were supposed to pass during the night and it was considered very unlucky to fence any of thoes gaps.
    Many an old person said saw the fairies passing through on a bright moon light night It was said that the grandest music was heard in it.
