  1. A girl from Glin went working for a woman in the village. The first job she got was washing clothes. When her Mistress went out to ask her was she nearly finished she said that she was at the tail end. Her Mistress told her not to say tail end but conclusion. A day or two after there was a donkey going up the town and there was a tincan tied to its tail. The girl seeing it ran in to her Mistress shouting - "Mrs, Mrs come out quickly till you see a donkey going up the town and a tincan tied to its conclusion.
