  1. Once upon a time there lived a wife and husband named Kate and Jack. They were very poor. Jack said one day that he would go out and earn some money.
    He told Kate to get ready some dinner for him. After a few days Jack had some money earned and he and Kate hid it at the cows heads in the byre.
