    A bell fell from heaven to St. Senan on a little hill outside near Bansha. There was a roar outside my house in Kildimo and St. Senan used pass along that road to a Convent called Coill na gCoileach which was further down.

  2. St Senan is the patron saint of Coirce-Baiscin which is West Clare. St. Senan built seven churches and a monastery and it is also said that the round tower was built in his time. He was born in Molougha where there is a blessed well and a ruined chapel and a lake which was 3 miles around it 20 (?) years ago and now it is a quarter of a mile around it. The 8th of March is his feast day. St Patrick foretold from a hill in Co. Limerick when he could not go to Clare on account of his old age but he said that in a hundred years time a man would come
