  1. A Prayer when raking the Fire
Coiglím an teine seo mar a choigil Críost fás.
Muire mullach an tighe agus Brighid in-a lár.
Na trí h-aingil is mó chum Dia agus Rí na nGrás
Teacht ag coimeád an tighe seo agus a mhuinntear go lá.

Prayer when approaching a Blessed Well
Go mbeannuighidh Dia dhuit a thobair naomhtha
Go mbeannuighidh Mhuire dhuit agus beannuighim féin duit
Is chughat a tháinig mé ag gearrán mo scéil duit
Id' iarraidh chabhair in-ónóir Dé ort.

    * * *

    Molfaimíd tú Íosa Críost
Molfaimíd do thír agus a bhfuil ann
Mar chualas an Rí glórmhar atá i glóir na bhFlaitheas
Go mbeimíd-ne id'mholadh sa t-saoghal seo agus go mbeithfá ár moladh sa t-siorruidheacht

The Last Prayer to be said at Night
God the Father bless me, Jesus Christ defend and keep me,
The virtues of Holy Ghost enlighten and sanctify me,
Into they hands O' Lord Jesus Christ receive my soul.

    When rising in the Morning
I rise myself up from this bed of sleep to adore my God and labour for the salvation of my soul. Grant that I may rise on the last day to life everlasting Amen.
