It got its name because ghosts used to be seen there long ago.There is a field in Quilty and it is called the "Drumfionn" [?]. It got it's name from the daisies which used grow there and from the cows that used graze them.We have a field at home and it is called the "Dabai Beag" [?]. It got its name from a sand-hill which was there long ago. The people drew away the sand and it became a field.There are two small rivers near Quilty called "Na Dracioini" [?] because there are small bridges(continues on next page)
