  1. After the process of weaving came the tucking of the cloth thus woven. In most cases this was done in the houses, and in other cases it was done by mills called "Tucking Mills". These were often attached to the grinding mills. In this parish of Kilmurry Ibrickane there were 4 such mills operating about 80 yrs ago. There is but one operating at present. Until quite recently the process of tucking was carried on in the district lying between Carrigaholt and Loop Head.
