  1. Ainmhithe na Feirme
These are the names of the farm animals my uncle has in his farm :- the horse; the cow; the ass; the sheep; the goat; the pig; the dog and the cat.
These are the names of the cows :-
Crowley; Boland; Sexton and Devitt. They are so called from the people they were bought from.
When my uncle is driving the cows morning and evening he says "habha, habha, habha".
These are the names of the calves :-
    Butty; Polly; Strawberry and Snowball.
The house where the cows are kept is called the cow house. Straw and sand are put as litter under them. Jeyes fluid and lime are put in the cabin to prevent diseases such as, ringworm, redmurrain, etc.
The cows are tied in the cabin by a "Spancil" or a chain that is the "spancil" or the chain is tied around their necks. A horse's shoe is driven into the wall and the chain is tied to it.
The calves are tied by the legs with a rope and the rope is tied to a horse's shoe. It is driven into the wall then.
