  1. Very long ago people used get married in their own houses. Then the first born baby would be baptised in the house. These are the names of some of the people that were married in their own houses:- Thomas Gallagher of Drummin and Cormac McCarthy of Scrappel. It was Father Doran married these two people. It is about one hundred and twenty years ago since people used get married in their own houses.
