  1. Saint Ruan's Well.
    Long ago there was a Blessed Well in Poulcombe in the parish of Mullagh .This well was built near a house and there was a servant girl in the house..One harvest day the girl was in a hurry to cook the dinner and she got water out of the Blessed Well to boil potatoes and if the potatoes were down until this day they would not boil.So that night the well removed down to Doolough and it is there still.People go there to do rounds in honor of St Ruan on Good Friday.
