    Blessed Wells
There is a Blessed Well in this parish dedicated to St. Joseph but its Irish name of Tobar Loicdin,as it must have belonged to "Naom Loicdin".There is a story told about it .One day a woman who lived near it wanted spring water badly. She had not time to go to the spring well so she got a bucket of water from the Blessed Well to cook the dinner. The following morning the Blessed Well had removed to the other side of the river .For many years there was one trout in this well.It is said that if the person praying at the well saw the trout his request would be granted.
