    A Story.
At the north of Doolough there is a Blessed Well called Saint Ruan's.This well was in Poulcoum at first .Long ago a certain woman wanted to boil potatoes. She had no water near her and she went to this Blessed Well for a bucket water. The potatoes never boiled. In the morning the well was removed to another place.
People go there on Fridays and Sundays and do rounds there. One big round and and a small round. Many people are cured from many troubles. The well is situated in a very lonely place.
