In the parish of Kilmaley there is a place which is called Kilcolumn. People say that ghosts and other queer things are seen around the cross.A few years ago there was a man coming from Ennis about 12 o'clock in the night .When he was coming towards this place he saw a woman sitting on the wall combing her hair .Another night when a man was coming from a visit he saw a funeral and a great number of people after the hearse crying.
