    Blessed Well.
    To the north of Doolough there is a Blessed Well known as St.Ruan's Well.The Well was first in Poulcowm.One night a certain woman water to boil potatoes,the other well was very far away.So she took a bucket of water from the Blessed Well.The potatoes never boiled and the next morning the Blessed Well was removed to the northern side of Doolough lake and many people are cured there.
