    A Story.
    Once upon a time ,there lived in Doolough a woman and her husband,and they had three sons and they were very poor.One night they went to steal a sheep and they put the three sons into a barn .When they came back with the sheep ,they were afraid that the sons would tell the secret.So they set the barn on fire ,but the three sons got out by a back window ,and made their escape ,and went away ,until they came to a three cross road,and they agreed to meet at the end of a year and a day at the same spot,if living .So each one took a different road,the oldest son went along until he came to a king;s house.So he hired out with the king.
    The first night he slept in the house,he slept in a haunted room .He was very tired and sleepy,and after going to sleep,he thought he felt a great weight upon him .And he asked several times what was the matter,so after a while he sat up in bed,
