    A Story.
    A Serpent lived in Scattery Island.Saint Senan commanded him to leave it.So one day he took three jumps and landed In Doolough Lake and and Saint Senan commanded him that he should live on a trout and a half a day.There was a very heavy chain tied around him and one very frosty night the lake covered all over with ice and he could not come up so he died below.
