  1. The Cúilneac is situated in a very lonely spot, and it is supposed that it was a great hiding place long ago, when the Irish people were persecuted. It is said that there are graves in it where people are buried. There are many ruins which show that people lived there from time to time. There is a big stone in the middle of it marked with some inscription on it.
