  1. There was an old school over near Tom Shannon's in Milford.
    The teacher that was teaching there used to stay at Matthew Connor's.
    The came he used was an osier rod.
    The desks they had were forms.
    Sometimes they used have to sit outside on the wall because the school was too small.
    The scholars had to bring a sod or two of turf to the school.
    The school is there at present.
    It is now used as a cow's cabin.
