  2. Long ago there were a lot of famous men around Miltown such as Tom Malone.
    Tom Malone was born in the Main St just where the knitting fatory is at present and died in Sidney in 1920.
    He proved to be a champion runner, jumper, walker, and an all round athlete.
    Mick Steele was a nail maker who lived in the Ennis Road where Mickey Nugents house is built
    He used to make nails every day.
