  1. Once there lived a woman and a man in this parish.
The man used get a pain which often lasted a whole week
He heard about Biddy Early a wise woman who lived near the village of Feakle and who cured people by getting inspration from an old bottle.
She used put this old bottle to her eye and look through it.
Biddy then could know where the person would come from and what cure would be suitable for that person.
The man who got the pain sent his mother to Biddy Early.
Biddy gave her a bottle and she told her that she would be attacked on the road away home and not to part with the bottle.
