  1. This is a jolly night in everyhome especially, with the youngsters. They look forward to a feed of apples nuts and beans divided out among them. They visit neighbours houses and play all kinds of games with apples and beans. Old tricks are played that will never die out.
    There is a big Halloween Cake placed on every table for the tea containing a article. - a ring for marriages, a bean for crossing water, and an old piece of rag for a coffin. There is great excitement at table among the family
