“Our Lord and St. Peter were walking along through the country one day and they were admiring the crops.”
Our Lord and St. Peter were walking along through the country one day and they were admiring the crops. After a while they came to a farmer's house, and Our Lord said
"Let us go in and make a rest"
"I don't care let us go" said St Peter.
The two walked in, and they got the greatest of welcome. The woman of the house gave them some dinner, and while they were eating Our Lord drew down about the farm.
"Who works on the farm with you"? said Our Lord.
"Myself and Darac there" said the farmer pointing to his son.
"Will you send that boy to (school) college" said Our Lord.
"I will" said the farmer "if the Autumn stays fine I'll have enough money to send him away.
Soon after, Our Lord and St. Peter left the house, and as they were journeying along a great storm arose. Thunder blasted, lightning flashed, and rain came in torrents. The two travellers went into an old shed for shelter, and as St. Peters took at the door of the shed he said(continues on next page)- Informant
