  1. In this locality many old sayings are told during Shrove. Some people say that Wednesday is a lucky day to get married on.
    (1) Old people say: If you marry in brown you will live in a town.
    (2) If you marry in grey you will go far away.
    (3) It is said that a person getting married should borrow something, something blue, something old, something new.
"Spakeaer" is the name caled to the man who introduces the marriages.
Long ago men on horse-back used to have a race to the church and traps and cars were used. The wedding party used to be in the first car.
